Relationship Therapy

Relationships are central to our lives. Whether it’s with a partner, parent, sibling or another family member, these connections shape how we experience the world. When a relationship feels strained, it can lead to frustration, sadness or distance. Sometimes it’s hard to see a way forward on your own.

Relationship therapy offers a supportive, non-judgmental space for two people to come together and explore what’s happening between them.

Together, we’ll look at:

  • How you communicate and what might be getting lost along the way

  • The unspoken needs or expectations beneath the surface

  • Repeating patterns of conflict, criticism or withdrawal

  • How past experiences and family history influence your relationship today

  • The impact of external factors such as culture, values or lifestyle

By seeing these patterns more clearly, you can begin to talk - and listen - to each other in new ways. The aim is to create space for understanding, honesty and compassion, so you can decide together what kind of relationship you want to build moving forward.

Relationship therapy can help:

  • Romantic partners rebuild intimacy, trust or connection

  • Parents and adult children resolve long-standing tensions

  • Siblings improve communication or navigate family responsibilities

  • Separated or divorced partners co-parent more effectively

  • Any two people who want to better understand and support each other

Sessions are £90 for 90 minutes.

Group Therapy

Group therapy offers a unique space to explore yourself in relation to others, discover new perspectives, and develop healthier ways of connecting. Unlike individual therapy, groups let you see yourself through the eyes of others, to experience both support and challenge, and reflect on the patterns that shape your relationships.

Groups meet in a circle with no fixed agenda. Each person is invited to bring their own experiences, and together we explore what arises in an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality. Over time, the group itself becomes a supportive community, helping members to connect more deeply with themselves and with others.

The process of group psychotherapy can be profoundly moving, offering a powerful opportunity for growth and change. It often reveals how past experiences continue to influence the present, while opening up new choices for the future. Many people use it alongside, or instead of, individual therapy.

If you are interested in joining a group, we'll begin with a one-to-one session to discuss your needs, ensure that group therapy feels right for you, and help you enter the process feeling safe and supported.

During the year, I also offer structured groups focused on specific life challenges. These run for a set number of weeks and are kept small so everyone has space to be heard and supported.

Sessions are £25-£30 depending on group focus, length of sessions and number of participants.
